Fishing for trout
Fishing for trout can be exciting and challenging. Fisher of Men fishes for trout on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. On Lake Erie you can catch Steelhead, Brown and Lake trout during the summer months in deep water about the same place you fish for walleye. Once again we use tackle to get plugs and spoons down to the trout. Also trout may be caught in the fall right off the Pennsylvania streams which feed into the lake. Here again we troll mainly using swallow diving plugs. On Lake Ontario we fish in the spring, summer and fall for trout in the same places we fish for salmon. Once again we troll usually using the same methods as on Lake Erie except we are in much deeper water.
